2024 Simmental Bull & Heifer Sale

Thank you to all you visited, bid, and bought during our 2024 Simmental and Simmental-influenced bull and heifer sale. It was a great sale year, and we are looking forward to seeing how our genetics continue to positively impact this industry. Our customers are an extension of our family; we appreciate you all!

​We strive to offer predictable, balanced genetic packages. We are confident our bulls are developed to last many years. Reports of bulls being sold at seven or eight-years-old simply because there are too many daughters in the herd are not uncommon! We can’t think of a better testament to longevity or performance.

Join Jackpot Cattle Company near Miller, South Dakota on February 14, 2024 for our annual bull and heifer sale.
Jackpot Cattle Sale Tips:
We will accept initial bids in person or via phone (605-461-1494) until 3 pm on Wednesday, February 14, 2024.

Then, we'll conduct extended bidding on each animal by phone to ensure buyer sincerity and opportunity for roll-ahead.

Remember--no cattle are considered sold until the extended bidding period is complete. Just because you hold the only bid on an animal when bids close does not mean you hold the winning bid!

With over 40 years in the Simmental breed and a lifetime in the cattle industry, we believe in the quality of every animal on our sale. In fact, on rare occasion when a base bid hasn't been reached, we don't fret. We know a good one has been missed for some reason, and we put that animal to work. 

If you like one, get a bid in because if you don't put these cattle to work making money, we will!
What else to know:
  • All animals have been through our health check and vaccination program.
  • Bids are handled via phone and text; like a live auction, if you are "out,"  you can bid anytime ... no waiting on phone calls. BUT--if you prefer using the phone, be available to keep the sale moving.
  • Jackpot Cattle Company offers a breeding guarantee and sells under American Simmental Association terms.
  • We reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids placed via any available method.
  • No cattle will be loaded without payment!
  • ​We strongly encourage livestock insurance and will cover half the premium cost on all bulls.
  • If no arrangement or contact has been made within 10 days of the sale's conclusion, cattle will be offered to the public at our discretion.
